В рамках 70-летия великого мастера искусства из Казахстана — Ануара Игембаева, знаменитый региональный художественный музей в Павлодаре представил его личную выставку. Коллекция объединяет более 60 произведений, созданных автором в разные периоды времени, жанры и в разнообразных жизненных ситуациях.
«Мне нравится работать с маслом, холстом, живописью. Но все мои сюжеты возникают под влиянием настроения. С утра выходишь на улицу, видишь что-то прекрасное, и тут же подумаешь: «Пора воплотить». Но как только заходишь в мастерскую, в голове уже всё перевернулось», — кратко описывает свой творческий подход и выбор тем Ануар Игембаев.
Во время открытия выставки многочисленные гости, в основном представители культурной сферы, выразили признательность за значимый вклад Игембаева в сохранение и развитие традиций в сложные годы становления молодой республики, за активную поддержку современного искусства и говорили о преданности делу, которое он избрал. В то же время друзья и коллеги из художественного сообщества были более искренними и понимающими.
«Наша казахстанская школа отличается от других. Например, от российской или украинской. И отличия кардинальные. Ануар Игембаев — один из выдающихся художников, бережно относящихся к наследию, которые хранят и лелеют его. Он окончил Алма-Атинское училище имени Гоголя в 70-е годы, имел легендарных наставников, и он проник этим духом и стилем в изображение окружающего мира, и, что поразительно — всё подвластно ему», — поделилась своим профессиональным взглядом на творчество Ануара Есмухановича известная искусствоведка Майя Хусаинова.
Друзья-художники называют Ануара Игембаева «многосторонним художником, который великолепно справляется с портретным жанром, его пейзажи изумительны, и его натюрморты буквально пропитаны национальным колоритом». И замечают: «потому что он искренне предан своей родине и местным жителям».
«Он знаком с казахскими обычаями, он знает дух казахской деревни, и у него фантастическое чувство цвета. ПосмотритеFocus closely on his artworks, they have such contrasting, delicate characteristics; such an amazing palette. And this speaks volumes about the incredible skill of the artist, as a unique painter,» noted the master’s young colleagues.
The anniversary exhibition truly turned out to be special. However, as not only experts of his artwork but even the head of the regional culture management Medet Tauaskan noted, among the displayed paintings, the artist’s piece that was once «rejected» in Astana was missing.
«Nasha Zhizn» covered this incident in the article «Art in Captivity.» The piece with the striking title «Goats on the Roof» was removed from the capital’s exhibition not because of this, but because of the underlying meaning. The humble canvas was created by the author during deep contemplation, dedicating it to bureaucratic arbitrariness.
«The painting satirizes the rampant appointment of incompetent individuals to high positions, who lack the skill to lead or efficiently manage work. That’s why it’s called ‘Goats on the Roof.’ When they in Astana understood the meaning and true content, they just took down the painting a couple of hours before the exhibition opening. At the same time, no one provided precise reasons, coming up with plenty of absurd and silly explanations,» humorously recalls Anuar-aga today.
The artist’s life was filled with numerous interesting events and challenging moments. Yet he successfully navigated through all the ups and downs of life, maintaining openness, honesty, integrity, and a sense of self-worth. Another renowned cultural figure in the region — the director of the Bekmahanov Scientific Library at Margulan University reminisces about how they were constantly mistaken.
«My surname is Igibaeva Rosa, while Anuar’s surname is Igembaev. Just two letters differentiating us, but we were often confused, and I always took it as a compliment. Because he was a great personality to me: an interesting artist, a respected individual. So, when people asked me: ‘Is he your brother?’ unbeknownst to him, I confidently replied: ‘Yes, he is my brother!’. Which was simply incorrectly recorded. I congratulate my ‘brother’ on such a significant and remarkable event, with a rich exhibition. So many friends, like-minded people, and admirers came to see him. I am proud of him, wishing him only health and creative accomplishments,» said Rosa Igibaeva.
Academician of the Kazakh Academy of Arts Anuar Igembaev continues to astonish with his energy and productivity. Besides creating new pieces, he actively engages in teaching.
